SECTION 101 LAUNCHES WEBSITE OF PUNK BAND WORLD WAR IX

Section 101, a New York based company that delivers a dynamic web-based solution providing simple and effective tools for music and entertainment brands, has launched a new website for punk band World War IX http://worldwarix.com/. Taking the punk ethic and running with it, WWIX high-octane songs are only matched by their high-energy shows. The Brooklyn based band has been rocking since 2002, making sure no one leaves their rowdy orbit without having a (sometime alcohol induced) blast. Band members Filthy Phill on vocals, Justin on Guitar, Brian “Chinatown” Jackson on Bass and Jon on Drums have been laying it down old school since they first decided to put together a band deciding if they were going to do it, they were going to go all the way. Their first EP, Bender Royale, was released on June 6, 2012, and can be purchased on their website. Six stomping and rambunctious tunes, World War IX not only bring it with their music, but with the hilarious comic books they create based on their (mis)adventures as a band. The comics, music, photos and videos are all on display on http://worldwarix.com/. Says CEO Liz Leahy, “This is Section 101’s first punk band, and there really is no better one we could’ve started with than World War IX. They take the ball and run with it with regard to every aspect of their career. They’re entertaining, mischievous and most of all, authentic.” ABOUT SECTION 101: Section 101 delivers a dynamic web-based platform that presents simple and effective solutions for music and entertainment brands to manage and maximize their online presence.
