SECTION 101 ANNOUNCES NEW SITE FOR SINGER NOEMI LIBA
Section 101, a New York-based company that develops simple and effective tools for artists to market, promote and monetize their brand online, is excited to announce the launch of a new website for singer songwriter Noemi Liba at http://noemiliba.com.
Noemi, who has been called “extraordinary, spectacular... leaves you wanting more….”
by John Carver at PBS Radio and whose songs have been referred to as “wonderfully crafted” by Malcolm Fielding of ABC Radio, is an emerging talent worth your time. Her debut EP, Freefall, received airplay in her native Australia, where her smoky, jazzy, middle-eastern infused tunes brought forth many news fans and comparisons to strong songstresses including Kate Bush, Bjork and Tori Amos.
She now brings her talents worldwide with her upcoming full-length release, See, Saw, due for release in 2012. Mixed by Grammy winning mixer John Hudson (Tina Turner, Faith No More), the album is a tapestry of influences, sounds and emotion. Noemi is at the helm of all her expression, from beats to lyrics to the arrangements, earning her the reputation of a musical sensation for her multiple capacities. Much in demand, she has recently worked with the Chicago Classical Oriental Ensemble (an offshoot of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra) as an arranger, and has collaborated with international performers such as renowned Biennale artist Heri Dono and acclaimed Iraqi Israeli master Oud player, violinist and composer, Yair Dalal.
Planning to tour in support of See Saw, Noemi’s recorded music is fully complimented by her captivating live performances. Says Section 101’s CEO Liz Leahy “We welcome Noemi to the Section 101 family. Her capacity for musical storytelling is seemingly boundless, and the way she frames her music and her presentation is truly captivating. We look forward to working with Noemi for a long time to come.”
